Pros: Directions, Trail Descriptions

Cons: Pictures, Northern Georgia Only

Recommendation: Better off just using this website or your LBS. Almost completely worthless if you don't live in north Georgia.

Pros: Great detail of the trails listed. Covers North GA mountains pretty well.

Cons: Wish it had some better pics and it also needs an updated version put out with all the new trails closer to the metro Atlanta area.

Recommendation: A pretty good book if you live in the north Metro Atlanta area and are looking for rides. Everyone of these and more could be found here on Singletracks.com or at your local bike shop for free though.

Pros: It is very descriptive about the trails that it talks about. It a very good book for riders who may live north of Atlanta and do not know the trails very well.

Cons: Like mentioned before; it focuses only on trails in north Georgia. Some of these trails are so close to the north state line, that you could spit into the the next state.

Recommendation: For riders who may be new to riding Georgia, and who live in the more northern area.

Pros: Simple maps are easy to read, hits many of the good trails in Georgia.

Cons: Misses many new trails and completely ignores trails south of I-20 (more than half of Georgia!). Includes many non-singletrack rides that are should be skipped. Photos are few and unhelpful. Includes 50 trails but 6, for example, are in a single state park.

Recommendation: Skip this one, you'll get better info from local bike shops or from singletracks.
