#13 out of 107 Fat Bikes
Brand: Borealis
Named after Echo Canyon in Dinosaur National Monument up in the northwestern boonies of Colorado, the echo will put a smile on your face bigger than any fat bike rider's smile seen before. This is the first performance-oriented, full carbon frame designed around the brand new RockShox BLUTO fat bike suspension fork. The extreme lateral stiffness combined with perfected vertical compliance, and geometry optimized for the 100mm of travel that the Bluto fork offers has truly revolutionized fat biking. We've also decided to spec 35mm clamp stems and handlebars on our top two build kit models; this new oversized standard is a perfect match for the extra-wide tires of fat bikes. Internal dropper seatpost routing is the cherry on top of the echo's design features that make it truly stand out as a do anything, ride anywhere, year round adventure shredding machine.

Since Borealis headquarters is only 3 miles away from Sram's R&D office in Colorado Springs, we get to take advantage of some of the resources that the best bicycle component company in the world has to offer. We saw the very first sample Bluto fork of any fat bike manufacturer out there, and that day we decided to design a bike just for that fork. The echo also boasts another incredible Sram product- a 197mm MAXLE 12mm rear thru-axle that makes the rear triangle incredibly stiff.

We are pumped about the echo frame in combination with the Bluto fork, and we are pretty darn confident you'll agree with us. Of course, you'll have to go ride one for yourself to find out just how much fun you'll have. Check out our dealers page to find out where you can swing a leg over an echo.
