Description
Once on the singletrack under the Interstate, you will climb through pinyon and juniper cross a dirt road twice and the trail bends to the right along a fence line. You are on the Utah-Colorado border now. Again the road crosses the trail @ approx. 4.5 miles and stay to the left following the trail up to the rim, traversing along the rim to a challenging climb to the ridgeline above. From here things get a bit dicey as you descend the trail crossing slickrock to one more final white knuckler descent and then mellowing out and working it's way around the ridge. Shortly you will intersect Kokopelli's Trail. Go north or right on the road towards the I-70 staying left until crossing back under. Go right and follow the road approx. 3 miles back to car. Milage starts @ I-70 underpass. Almost if not all of this trail is in Utah.

Review: I rode this last week. IT WAS AWESOME, I love to ride in the desert !! I was challenging, no room for error in a lot of places. The scenery was absolutely GREAT. I never saw any one else, made it very exciting. You do need to be use to high temps to make it this time of year, if that is you... nail it, you will not be disappointed. WATCH FOR FLASH FLOODS !!!

Review: This is a great ride with many possibilities. Can be ridden either direction but clockwise is usually the direction. You can also start from the Bitter Creek Campground. A tough climb followed by a ridge-line ride with some slickrock and one wicked descent that will make you pucker a bit. I have only ridden Zion as part of a larger loop: Zion >Overlook> Arch Loop> Connector> Western Rim >R.V. #2. It’s one of the best epic rides in the valley. Some are calling it The Holy Grail

Review: This trail is on Utah-Colorado border. It has a remote quality to it which adds to the fun factor. Once past the I-70 take the singletrack on left. Follow along the state line and up to a rim. There are a few tech spots to keep you alert if the scenery doesn't do it for you. Down a ridgeline with some scary parts to it and meeting up with the Kokopelli Trail. Really fun ride. Really fun sections of flowing trail off the rim.
