Description
Whetstone Vista is a rocky, technical descent down from the Upper Upper loop

to Brush Creek Road. While this trail is chock full of rocks and some sharp turns

and switchbacks, none of the rocks offer very serious challenges. Taken all

together, though, it's a rough ride!

Combine this trail with some of the others in the area for a great ride. We rode

the shuttle from town up to Mount Crested Butte, then rode across on the

Upper Loop to the Upper Upper Loop to Whetstone Vista (this trail) and then

back to town on Brush Creek Road and the New Deli Trail.

Review: This trail is upper intermediate to easy advanced. Definitely tons of rocks everywhere. Great singletrack! If ever a one mile trail deserved a 5 star rating, this is it.
