Description: This route goes through rolling terrain that provides diverse scenery and good views from the quarry site.
Mileposts:
0.0 - Meissner Sno-Park. Start out on FS road 4615.
4.4 - Head Straight at the junction with FS road 300 and 250, going up FS road 350 to get to the viewpoint at Quarry Site 1041.
4.8 - Quarry Site 1041. A short scramble to the top will give excellent views of the surrounding area. Return the way you came to continue the route.
5.2 - Back at FS road 4615 turn left and continue down this road.
6.6 - Turn left onto FS road 800. (this is the second 800 road you will encounter)
7.6 - Turn left onto FS road 400.
8.0 - Come to FS road 4612 (unmarked) and head to the right.
8.4 - Turn left onto FS road 090.
8.9 - Turn left onto FS road 060.
9.9 - Turn right onto FS road 4615 and head back toward the trailhead.
11.0 - Back at Meissner Sno-Park.
