Description
Silverdale is a ghost town now and no buildings remain but the streets and a few roads still exist. There is what even looks like an old rr grade. There is no developed trail system here. There is about mile of premium single track under the power line. To get to the single track cross the foot bridge take the first right climb up a couple of short hills when you get to the powerline turn left. The trail isn't ridden much and is kind of hard to see in places but it is generally under the powerline. I hear you can get to the top of Saxton Mtn.I have only made it about 3/4 of the way. There is also a trail that drops steeply to Georgetown{not recomended for beginners].Have fun it will take you while to figure this place out. Thanks Clear Creek Trail Ass. for the clean up of these trails.

Review: Good trails when you want a short, fun, non-serious area. Actually more than one trail: a few different flavors if you explore a bit. Not much in the way the tech or DH, but a few spots you can use your imagination with or even a few smooth trails you could string together with the kids. Getting here via Raspberry is a good challenge of climbing skill and going back that way (more common) is a blast. Also, when coming from Georgetown, one way to (or from) Argentine.
