Mountain Biking Silo Center Bike Park

*****   Add a review
#41 of 108 mountain bike trails in Kentucky
#4,946 in the world

The Silo Center Bike Park features flow trails, a skills loop and two pump tracks, all specially built by the talented professionals at the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA). These new amenities allow riders to go at their own pace, testing and improving riding abilities using the skills loop and beginner pump track working their way up to more-difficult flow trails and an intermediate pump track. All amenities located within the Silo Center Bike Park are for BIKES ONLY. Pedestrians and spectators must stay off bike park trails and tracks.
Pump Tracks - Riders can practice the pump action needed to handle rollers and berms on the Beginner and Intermediate Pump Tracks. A variety of transfer opportunities are available on each track, allowing riders to mix up the sequence of elements.

Toasted Swine Skills Loop - Riders can take their practice to the next level on the Toasted Swine Skills Loop, a loop trail containing a variety of wooden features ranging in difficulty to allow for rider progression based on skill and ability. Optional drop-lines allow riders to get comfortable managing uneven terrain and vertical challenges.

Flow Trails - Enjoy rolling, natural-surface trails while completing a variety of features. Optional lines throughout allow riders to bypass features they are not yet ready to tackle and return later for a fresh, more challenging experience. All flow trails are downhill, one-way routes.

Flying Pig - This difficult trail contains embankments, rollers and tabletops that create a rhythm similar to skiing. As skill improves, optional lines are available, allowing riders to get creative and change-up their ride. Exit and return to Main Street using the Louisville Loop.
Piglet - This difficult trail is an optional route found along Flying Pig. Yield to riders on Flying Pig. Exit and return to Main Street using the Louisville Loop.

The Trough - This more-difficult downhill experience offers a quick, rolling trip through the woods. The Trough treats riders to steeper, faster rollers and an optional 6-foot drop. Rider's Return brings users back to Main Street.

Crazy Red's - This most-difficult trail starts off with an optional 10 foot wall ride, that riders can use to gather momentum to carry them through table tops, double rollers, rock features and berms. A more developed set of riding skills is essential when taking on Crazy Red's. Yield to riders on The Trough, and use Rider's Return to climb back to Main Street.
