Description: A quick ride through some raw Alaskan wilderness. This relatively flat trail meanders its way through old forest to a glacier fed lake surrounded by towering peaks. The forest is very thick for the first 1.5 miles but thins out at that point revealing occasional views of the surrounding terrain. I give this trail a fairly high technical rating due to the mass amount of roots growing across the trail which are pretty slick & treacherous when wet, and then its pretty rocky in other places.
* Please don’t kid yourself, this is Bear Country. Please either ride with several people and make a lot of noise or carry a gun.
