Mountain Biking K-Mart Trail

****   Add a review
#161 of 289 mountain bike trails in Florida
#5,176 in the world

The trail to the west is mostly flat with lots of roots and sharp turns. Go north, and you can hear people yelling and hooting, and you know you're going to more fun stuff. The trail is an abandoned coral rock quarry. Very tech singletrack w/quick steep climbs and decents. It is So Fl so there are no great climbs or mile long downhills but on the technical side its pretty gnarly. Lots of jumps, logs, dropoffs. There's a group ride every Sunday morning and theres always riders on the trail. Its pretty easy to get lost so night riding is not recommended and after a good rain storm the place turns into a mud pit. Contact: [email protected], [email protected]

Getting there
"Southern blvd is accessable from both the turnpike and i-95. You want to take the west bound exit from either and continue 3 to 5 miles to the intersection Southern and State rd 7. Its a large intersection which can't be missed. On the NW corner is a Kmart. Park behind the store and you will see several trail heads leading off into the woods.
