Description
The trail is also shared with motocycles as my understanding is they pioneered the route. The first couple of miles is a fast moving well worn in speed run. As you mov along on the trail it becomes a series of ups and downs as you move across the different mesas and canyons in the area there are a couple of places to opt back to the road and when the trail ends at the road turn right and head about 1 to 2 miles back to the parking area at graduation flats

Review: Very nice singletrack with rolling uphills and downhills. You have to share it with dirt bikers, but they can't sneak up on you. You can start at Graduation flats (intersection of FRs 289 and 36), do the Crosstown trail, and return by FR 36 back to your car for an 11 mi. loop. Elevation is about 9000', so it's great summer and fall. (In summer, start early.) If the 11 mi. is not enough for you, there are lots of decent doubletrack trails in the area.

Similar Trail: Motown trail, starting nearby. It's also shared with dirt bikers, but there's no danger. You can hear them a mile away.
