Trails between rural villages under the Duron Pass.
The route joins historical paths which have connected the Bleggio villages since medieval times. The route starts from the church of Bivedo and takes you past Larido to Marazzone [1]. After 600 m you turn to the right and you start climbing. After 1 km you cross the pass [2] and turn to the right after 90 m. At the junction in the forest [3 - 1.3 km, 858 m] you turn to the left, you pass a single house and a ford. At the next T-junction [4 - 1.6 km, 867 m] you turn left and left again after 90 m. You take a small path and you descend easily along a nicely built granite wall. The path joins a tarmaced road near a hotel. You turn to the left and follow the road until you reach the main road [5 - 2.3 km, 796 m] where you make a right turn. 120 m farther, just about before the bend at the bar, you take the village path down to Cavaione and then, you keep right. You turn to the right again at the fountain of the village, [6] and you reach Rango [7] on minor roads. In Rango (3.5 km, 796 m) you turn to the right, and cycle uphill to the village. After having passed an arch you continue climbing through the village towards Duron pass. (You will pass again point 4 of the route). You reach a crossing with 3 paths at km 5.1 and a board [8]. (If you cycle straight ahead you extend the tour on to the Duron pass.) If not you turn to the right and you descend on a gentle trail without any junction. When you reach a gravelled path you turn left and immediately right and you join up again with the main road [9] which you cross straight ahead. (An easier alternative is turning to the left and to the right at the hairpin bend). A steep descent takes you to Larido [10]. At the beginning of Larido (6.6 km, 803 m) you turn to the left and climb a very steep gravelled path. You might "want" to walk later on for about 200 m, before you turn to the right at a nice gravelled street [11- 6.8 km, 856 m]. You pass a crossing with a house [12] near Cengledel and you keep right. In a nice and easy flow you reach Bivedo. Here the tour ends or might be extended by two circles. You keep left at the first crossing (8.0 km, 775 m) in Bivedo [13], and you leave the village descending to Duvredo. There is a right hairpin bend and soon a T-junction [14]. You turn to the right and you cycle uphill to the starting point at the church. (Or you turn to the left at the T-Junction (14) for an additional circle including Duvredo [15] and S. Croce. You follow the main road in S. Croce [16] to the right until shortly after Madice [17] where you climb the steep farm track to Bivedo).
