Pros: Good all around conditions AM/XC tire. High Air volume at 2.35 (and it looks all of 2.35) gives plenty of variance in air pressure to meet the terrain without risking snake bites. Corners great, handles the slick well and can grab those slippery roots. Uncanny resemblance to Kenda Nevegal tread. Pretty good tread life.

Cons: Heavier than other options and still not the perfect hedge against sticky saturated adobe clay soils..but then what is?

Recommendation: I was going through Nevegals in less than 90 days of trail riding and racing...the Stick E compound just didn't hold up, but the tread was a viable design, but at $100 a set/$400-yr..well it was time to check out other options. Don't get me wrong Neves are great tires but it was time to move on. I've had great success with the XC Fire Pro 127tpi on the XC race rig..so again I went after the Panaracer option. I'm 5 months into this set with a 1 mile ride on the road to and from my local trail head..and the "wear bars" haven't been scrubbed down yet. Riding at 40-43 psi gives me all of the cornering grip without feeling bogged down on the climb or sprint. These tires grab.
