Pros: Cost. A very close assimilation of what you can expect from a real GPS unit at a minimal price. Many cool features. Imperial, metric and even nautical units available. Will estimate calories burned based on time spent doing many different activities. Can either turn the map to satellite view or street view. Tracks very well as I have compared it to the map of my local MTB course.

Cons: Not 100% accurate. Mileage can be off a little bit due to lack of cell service. Elevation gain and loss the least accurate function this app tracks, however it tries. Misses some mileage o Very close.

Recommendation: If you were considering a GPS unit, start here. It will give you the best idea of what you can expect from a one at a fraction of the cost‼ If you are looking to review your ride, track the path, track your pace and increase speed and results. If they could get this program to train your phone to somehow operate via satellites instead of cell towers, this would be the best GPS unit for any price.
