Model/Year: Monocog 29er / 2011

Pros: Geometry, smooth clean ride and feel, chromoly construction, bad ass looks and classic Redline aesthetics

Cons: linear brakes are a bit old school and don't do much for steep descents

Recommendation: great and simple concept by Redline and affordable! I am a Redline fan forever!

Pros: It just seems to fit me well. 2010 race season I won some races with it even though I was about 10lb heavier than most my competitors

Cons: Heavy

Recommendation: Get it and upgrade some parts and it's really an awesome ride.

Pros: Simple and stout. I am a 255lb rider...has held up great.

Cons: Nothing really. The components are cheaper/heavier but they work fine.

Recommendation: Awesome bike for a clydesdale or anyone wanting to get into SS.
