Pros: Built like a tank and runs smooth as a whistle. Good component mix out of the box.
Cons: It's a little heavy. Coming from a much lighter bike I was worried about the weight but that actually works to your advantage going downhill over rough trail.
Recommendation: I rode this bike as a rental on the Salida Mountain Trails and the Monarch Crest trail and it was the perfect bike for the job.

Recommendation: I have the '12 Kahuna DL. The bike is fast & solid. I'm an intermediate rider & it's a blast. I'll have this bike for quite a while.
