Despite Marin laying claim to the birthplace of mountain biking, access to trails has been severely limited over the years… but that’s starting to change. This year the Marin County Bicycle Coalition and Access4Bikes are leading initiatives to create Marin’s first bike park and to gain access to bike-restricted Bill’s Trail. And the mountain bike hall of fame is finishing up work on its new home in Marin, which is just one more reason to pay a visit to the birthplace of mountain biking in 2015!
