When I upgraded for the third time in my first 8 months bike riding, and got my fullsus Camber (about 2K) I promised myself my next upgrade would be a skills class.
I had really plateaued and then I took a BetterRide class–made a huge difference. I figured a few hundred bucks would be a good investment to get the most out of a bike that cost 8 times that much–I was right.
Niner RIP 9 RDO for me.
i will not be looking into that anytime soon.
Well, it told me to buy the RIP 9 RDO as well. While I don’t own a RIP 9, I do own a Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Carbon Comp 29 ( I really wish they would make the name shorter) so overall the generator got it right sense they are basically the same bike. I am assuming that for simplicity they only used one bike per catagory i.e. the RIP 9 represents all 29er trail bikes.
You got it, jkdouglas: essentially just one representative bike per category 🙂
