because it’s a small bike, and only comes in regular and large. I’ve been talking to chris @ transition, a lot. He’s 5’8 and prefers the large model because he does a lot of freeriding/trail riding. He says he feels cramped on a size regular and suggested I fly with the large (which isnt really that much bigger to begin with). He says guys that use it strictly as a DJ bike like the regular frame, but if youre going to be putting some miles on the bike on the trail to go with the large. I’m 5’10 so I took his advice.
and if you guys are ever in the market for a transition bike… Call us dropnzone and ask for matty or allen. they do all the machine work for transition parts and they powdercoat the frames, chris told me to give em a call and they’d take care of me. I basically got the frame, cane creek headset installed, pack of FSA risers and shipping for waayyy under what any of transition’s FL Dealers could offer me just the frame for.
