About Me

I've been riding a MTB since 2012, but really got addicted to singletrack trail riding in the summer of 2017. Now I can't get enough and got my first full suspension bike, a Fezzari Cascade Peak Plus, at the end of 2017.

Does this work with both iOS and Android OS?
Really cool idea and I would buy one once it came out and I could read reviews of other people's experiences over time. But I also agree with everyone about not riding...

I can't help with recommending trails where you are, but wanted to welcome you to the sport and forum, comfortablycurt! As for taking a tumble or two, it won't "probably" happen...it will...

I'm 45 and became hooked on riding singletrack last summer shortly after turning 44. Mountain biking has become my favorite thing to do of all time and I notice improvement in my...

I enjoy having conversations with people with whom I disagree. When it's a real conversation, you can learn a lot about other people and their different perspectives, which helps build connection and...

I've finally decided to heed the voice of wisdom after all. I'm going to stay off technical singletrack for at least a few weeks and get my miles in on rail trails,...

If your main concern is for the bike park, I agree with the 'rent instead' advice. Edit: Maybe consider buying a full face helmet to bring to the park. Rental helmets worn by...

I love REI and shop there as much as possible and I'm going this weekend. Keep in mind, they are a co-op and when they announced this policy, they were responding to...

I ride in ungroomed snow up to 4-6 inches with my + bike. It can be done and it is fun, it's just a bit more work. Look for places with fewer...

Everytime I read an article about eMTBs, I make a face. lol Still, it's nice to know that as I get older and less physically able, there are options that may still allow me to enjoy riding trails, even if I need a little help or assist. I'll bet eMTBs really irk riders who are…

Timely article for me, as I have been car shopping the past month or so. I really want a pickup, but I don't really need it and can't justify it to myself. So I think I've settled on the Subaru Crosstrek. A manual transmission is a 'must have' for me.
