Thanks.  I will have to check the hub. I've read that the newer versions (post 2012) may be able to support the 11 but would have a shim. Mine's a 2018 so...

Great article. Due to an accident (non-bike), my left elbow is not much more than a metal hinge. I lost a good part of the muscle and the ability to hold that arm perfectly straight. The elbow limits what I can do for strength training and if I place to much weight on it, it…

I ride these Endura Singletracks when it's cold (https://www.jejamescycles.com/endura-singletrack-trouser.html?___store=us&gclid=Cj0KCQiA7briBRD7ARIsABhX8aAsYJNHKZp0uSy9KfmFU5a09Qsft92xPPvTmrochg8i6JAl4IDDzj4aAluTEALw_wcB). If it's really cold I throw base-layer leggings under them. They breath nice and help prevent too much heat build up, but then...

I am retooling and re-purposing (common term: retiring) in 2019 so  I am still working my goals out.   I returned to biking near the end of 2017 after a 14 year "recovery" from...

Thanks for the great article! Vermont holds some of my favorite trails, Pine Hill Park, Sherburne, Woodstock, and Ascutney for example. I had the opportunity to meet Tom last year at the VMBAFest in Ascutney. His enthusiasm for MTB shows through in his conversations. His attitude seems to be prevalent in the state as the…
