I like riding without a pack but I've found that I can't do it and have what I consider necessary to carry. As far as cleaning; if you only put water in...
If you put on your tinfoil hats it's easy to see why bike components are being targeted in these tariffs. Obviously Shimano wants to sell more SLX, XT XTR level components as these are made in Malaysia and Japan! Trump rides Shimano and so do I! In all seriousness, "most" brands and component levels that…
I strongly believe you are correct, this is a (necessary) negotiating tactic. The Light & Motion CEO is being dramatic with his comments. If the claims on their website about designing and manufacturing in the USA are true then they would be forced to raise their prices by a couple dollars at most to make…
Yes more articles like this! I enjoy dorking out over plants and trees and animals and anything in nature! Jeffry Pine tree is my "favorite" tree if I had to pick. Smells like vanilla.

Brakes that sit for long periods of times (especially when stored in the elements and with big temperature swings) need to get cleaned and bled. Using your brakes just once with corroded...

Just stick to the 29 wheels. You mentioned pedal strikes; the smaller wheel isn't helping you there.  A shorter stem is a cheap way to get you over the back of the...

That torker looks like a cool cheap bike. I'd take it to 7-11 for beer runs. If your commute involves hills a coaster brake is terrifying. I don't get your tire size...
I am only responding to the pricepoint comment. I don't think we're talking $50 more for good tires at the OE spec level. It's more like a $10 difference for something lightyears better.

What tools do you have access to?
Now to buy a trials bike (and find room in the garage)
It is basically free. When I was younger and didn't have the extra cash I rode the same bike for years and only worried about tubes, grips and chain lube. I didn't need parts unless something broke and gear was a helmet and skate shoes. I spend a lot on the sport now but it's…

Didn't attend, but based on the coverage from all the big media sites this event is on it's way out. Not much in the way of new product at all.

Bikes that old still have some value but not much. The first time you have to fix something like drivetrain or wheels you will spend more then what it's worth.
