My first ride back in Colorado is turning out to be a pretty epic one. Not only do I have great company in the Singletracks.com Chief Editor, Greg, but we are also on one of my favorite trails in Salida: Cottonwood.
We are starting Part 2 off with a session of the gnarliest section of the trail called the Waterfall Section – where there are many different lines from top to bottom, so Greg and I stopped to session.
As we continued down Cottonwood trail, things only got gnarlier which eventually resulted in Greg flatting and me taking a bit of a spill…. But we didn’t let these things stop us!
We finished the ride up with a pretty epic ride out with the sun blazing ahead of us as we soared down Mesa and back into town.
I couldn’t be more stoked to be riding out west again, and am so excited to have met yet another amazing individual in the MTB community. I imagine we will be seeing more of Greg on future rides!
