Mike Gamble produced this excellent night riding video called Light Cycles that uses LED lights to trace out riders’ paths as they shred trails in the Pacific Northwest. Riders Neve Abraham, Felix Abraham, and Ruben Guibert prove they can go big in this sure-to-be-copied night riding epic!

Dude that looks cool. I wonder how the lighting system works. I noticed a small metal contraption in the rear wheel bridging the hub and rim. Probably a battery pack. Is this system available to the public?

There are a bunch of companies that sell these, and they are cheap (see link below.) In fact, there are dozens of companies selling these at Interbike each year, and yet I never once thought about how cool it would be to use them for a night riding video. 🙂 Kudos to Mike for being so creative!

I was wondering the same thing as Joel, not that i would look nearly as cool as these guys it would be fun to rig up mine & my girlfriends bikes with these for our evening rides

You both would definitely be noticed!

Heres another thought: if you put it one the front wheel would it work as a headlight? Probably not, but it sure would look cool!

Very cool video! Can anyone tell me what trails these are??? I’m not from the area but would love to visit, if only for the trails!
