Love Agate! Great ride. Guessing these guys weren’t hitting all those creek crossings lower on the trail at 30mph though!
The videos really don’t show just how fast the riders are going. These guys make it look easy.
Gotta do Agate this summer. It’s been on my radar for a couple of years now. Looks awesome. And yes John, where are all those creek crossings everyone talks about. Every time I look at a map of the trail and area, I see another four miles or so of downhill trail that could be added and would drop you into the Sargents area. The grade would be a little less steep but still has the potential for some really good singletrack downhill trail. With a little vision and advocacy work it could bring a lot more business the little Sargents stop. They have a good supply of food and drink and a little restaurant. Great place to grab an after-ride burger and a beer. It’s all probably a bridge/step too far for the minimal population in the region, but there is a lot of riding potential in the area that could be developed.
