After thunder, lightning and torrential rain shut down the Red Bull Rampage qualifiers after only one run on Friday, organizers, riders and spectators wondered if a second run was in the cards. When Saturday brought even heavier weather, including flash flooding in surrounding southern Utah, the forecast did not look promising.
Fortunately the Rampage gods smiled down upon Virgin, Utah, with sun and scattered clouds today, allowing riders to get their second runs in.
Graham Agassiz topped the results with an absolute stunner of a run. It’s not an exaggeration to say that his qualifier run will go down as one of the most exciting in Rampage history.
