Weekly Wander 21

Running the north to south length of the state of Arizona at over 800 miles, the Flagstaff portion of the Arizona Trail is an entertaining, scenic traverse through the Francisco Peaks. The Arizona Trail carries riders up and down flowing singletrack, through pine and aspen, over rocks, and across meadows with stunning views. The trail can be pedal driven or shuttled for different ride experiences.

The Flagstaff section of the AZT is a slice of cross country mountain biking heaven! I was just in awe when I rode the short 7-10-ish mile segment that I experienced when I last passed through Flagstaff. A full-fledged Flagstaff trip is definitely in order!
