Polygon Syncline 9

Polygon designed an über-stiff carbon frame around 27.5-inch wheels with nothing but top of the line components on the Syncline 9, resulting in one of the lightest, stiffest, most nimble XC weapons we’ve ever ridden. The frame has a comfortably compact feel, making it easier to throw around tight, twisty trail and make finite adjustments at speed, although, even for a pure XC race bike, we’d opt for slightly longer handlebars.

“The Syncline 9 is a weight-sparing, spare-no-expense, hardtail whip of a ride that, while aimed at pleasing the cross country race crowd, is sure to light up singletrack where burlier, full squish bikes are too overwhelming.” -Chris Daniels
