Pinkbike reports that this new expansion will add 50km of new downhill trails, turning the premiere bike park on the planet into an absolutely massive downhill mountain biking mecca.

The good news is that the bike park expansion is included in Phase 1 of the proposal, meaning that the new trails will be arriving sooner rather than later. But according to Pinkbike, the full build out of the new 50km will take 4-5 years.

Even if you’ve been to Whistler a dozen times, it sounds like there’ll be plenty of trails to keep you coming back for more!
