Ibis has just launched the third generation of their Ripley 29er trail bike. The bike still sports 130mm of travel up front and 120mm in the rear.
One of the biggest changes is added clearance for larger tires. The Ripley can now accept up to 29×2.6″ Schwalbe tires or 29×2.5″ Maxxis tires. While it’s not quite plus, that’s a lot of meat!
Ibis also notes that “the upper eccentric is wider, resulting in a stiffer swingarm connection.”
Price for the carbon frame+shock is $3,000, and the new frames are available now.
