Pivot has updated their ever-popular 100mm full suspension XC/Light Trail bike, the Mach 429 SL, for 2017. The main change? It gets Boosted.
But along with the upgrade to Boost spacing, Pivot was able to redesign the rear end of the 429 to add some extra strength, all while making it lighter.
“We have had a very successful year on the Mach 429SL Carbon” said Pivot Cycles President and CEO, Chris Cocalis, “Highlights include US National Marathon Champion, Rose Grant, winning the Grand Junction off Road, on her way to taking the overall Epic Series title, and Australian Jason English taking his second World Solo 24 Hour Championship. This bike is the proven right choice for every kind of XC racing, from the UCI World Cup to the hundred-mile efforts of the National Ultra Endurance series.”
The most affordable builds of the 429 SL begin at $4,200, and go up from there. For more information, check out the video above!
