The Pony Rustler is Salsa’s new 27.5+ full-suspension trail bike, and it’s a real confidence-boosting, trail-ripping, fun machine. It shares frame geometry with the 29er Horsethief, and features the same Split Pivot rear suspension technology, resulting in incredible traction, efficiency, and predictability while conquering all types of terrain. The frame also features Boost 148x12mm rear spacing, which allows for wider tire clearance while retaining a standard width bottom bracket, keeping crank q-factor low and stiffening the rear wheel. The wider tires and lower PSI result in incredible cornering capabilities and the ability to roll over just about anything. All Pony Rustlers come equipped with SRAM drivetrains and Fox Float suspension. In addition to the carbon GX1 build, Salsa also offers a more expensive carbon X01 ($5,499) and a cheaper aluminum GX 2×10 ($3,499).

MSRP: $4,499
