iXS

iXS showed up with some new gear this year as well as an established American distributor. The Gravity Cartel is now the new American distributor for iXS and Spank, making life easier for all of you who want to get your hands on these exciting pieces of equipment. The new Trail RS depicted above will appeal to many a trail rider. Coming in at about 320 grams, this full in-mold design will protect your melon. With 22 vents, the Trail RS will also keep it cool.

Pictured above and below is the new line up of soft and semi-soft armor from iXS. Depending on the amount of protection you want, iXS may have what your looking for. With a close-fitting pleated sock type armor this stuff won’t move around.

Spank

We have reviewed a few items from Spank in the past. Although not the first name in gear, Spank has quickly made its mark with good quality bars, stems, rims, and more. Look for these at your LBS, you may just have to grab one.

Some of the new Spank Spoon hubs were on display as well. These are something to consider on your next wheel build. Rolling with Japanese bearings and a forged hub body, these will last you some time.
