Established in 1991, the club covers the greater Wellington area and caters for a range of abilities from novice to expert, with a preference for cross country riding.

The club provides a range of organised riding options including Sunday rides and Jungle rides, but probably the most popular is the Wednesday night rides. These can have anywhere from 5 to 20 or more depending on the ride.

Once you have mastered the basics of riding a bike, why not try adding the complexities of navigating from a map at the same time. Mountain Bike Orienteering (MTBO), is rogaining on mountain bikes. Members of the club have helped map, organise and run the Akatarawa Attack mountain bike orienteering event now in it's 4th year. Individual club members also take turns at running events in the Wellington MTBO series that runs from March to October.
