This was my goto spot for 20 years. John was the best. The shop was sold a few years ago and they are still great. Good selection of product and helpful staff.
Tune up and replaced my cassette and chain wheel. Work was done quickly and they were polite and knowledgeable. A little disappointed though, when I brought it in I talked to one of the techs about changing up my setup to a 2x10 or similar, after finding out what I was looking for, he suggested running 2x8 with a rock guard for riding the desert trails. Sounded good to me and I was all for it, he was going to get a quote and call me later that day. When I returned their call after the bike was done I asked about the 2x8 setup and they told me it hadn't been done, I asked the guy about it and maybe he was busy, but he didn't seem interested and told me to check on it when I picked it up. Like I said, maybe they were just busy, but it was a chance for them to earn additional business. Oh well.
