I’ve tried to measure the bar I have now but I’m not sure where the measurement has to be taken, is it a straight line from end to end, or is it measured along the bends of the bar?
All the information I know is what I can get from the Specialized website. Like I said, this is the first time I’ve had any dealings with looking into handlebars and stems
Handlebar: Butted alloy riserbar, 25mm rise, 8 degree back sweep, 6 degree up
Stem: 3D forged alloy, 7 degree rise, 31.8mm clampI bought a 2011 Specialized Rockhopper Comp 26er, but I’m not shopping around for another 29er, I’m getting into racing now and really wish that I had my 29er back, my budget is really low right now seeing as how I just bought the other bike a few months ago
Even though this post is old, the Info is not, This has helped out alot and I will take what I’ve learned reading this out on the trails from now on. "Knowledge is Power"
They make some that have a gel pac that is made into the bladder. The one I use has that and I usually put the bladder in freezer for about an hour without any water in it to get the gel kinda frozen, then fill it up with cold water and head out for a ride. It usually stays pretty cold for about 3-5 hours, depending on temp. Also having an insulated hose really helps out, so in between drinks you don’t have to suck in that hot water that stays in the clear hoses while your not drinking it.
Hey I’m looking for some people to start riding with on a regular basis if at all possible. I’m from the Columbus/Starkville area of MS. I’m planning on riding at the research park trails in Starkville, MS this upcoming Saturday if anyone is interested in meeting up out there to ride for awhile. Message me if anyone is interested. I’ll keep a check on this pretty regular for the next few days.
