    +1 on the widest tires. Convert to tubeless and then you can run even lower pressure for increased ride comfort

    Local bike shop is always the best option when starting out. They will make sure you get the proper fit for you, and the style of riding you will be doing. I walked in with a set bike in mind, and found that I really didn’t want that bike after a rode many different bikes. A bike shop is always the best resource.

    I got a kona fire mountain, and it is such a comfortable bike for any riding I do. I’d look into kona because their frames are incredible. All the other parts are replaceable down the road depending on on much, or hard you are on the bike
