I think its kinda cool to tool around on, but i would never take it off road. i like the ingenuity behind it. plus i would look dead sexy driving one of those things, the ladies would love it lmao

Well I have a 09′ Trek 3700 and its a wonderful bike. I’ve probably ridin 300+ miles of singletrack and shes never busted, yes i do plan on upgrading to an fuel ex9 but for now she works great. when it comes to " liking" bikes its kinda like how some people like Ford and others like GM. Trek, Specialize, or GT are all good bike. i dont believe ether one is better than the other. I will say that GT makes some crazy good DH bike. For me ill probably always be a Trek guy but i know that the other top brand are just as good

in reply to: Went biking at river legacy park today #91123

No problem bro, al in all its about 6+ miles now. At first it was only a 2 1/2 mile single track but a lot has been added. You know biking is just something I love to do. I told one of my friends that I went biking and he kinda laughed because "I ride a bicycle". In my head I laughed at him because he would never understand. The freedom you get from biking is something special, I think every MTB’er knows what I’m talking about.

Also no I didn’t have a helmet that day, I broke mine and I have to buy a new one today.

in reply to: Broke my first peddle today #90781

thank’s guys, big time. I do mostly XC, FR, DH, riding. I do think clipless peddles are for me. As I said the big things I need to learn is BALANCE, and doing more peddle work when going down hill so I have enough speed to get up hill. I find myself stalling out right before the top of hill and falling backwards lol . whats yall opinions on combo peddles, worth it or just clipless?
