#12 You can be something and nothing at the same time.
October 24, 2011 at 16:42 in reply to: Trails Near Ottawa will soon be officially designated #102172This is excellent news, and I look forward to the logs so I can confidently make the voyage and be rewarded with SINGLETRACK!
Please keep on posting! Even if the logs overlap eachother they only add more detail and accuracy to the main map.
This does sound counter productive, But I find that if I start to lose controll of my breathing I actually hold my breathe for a quick second. This forces a long exhale and a long inhale which helps me regain the correct rythym.
Works for me!I hope to hear this was a success and will be continued into the next few years.
I keep the front end light by lowering my elbows and modulate my weight transfer to the rear by sitting on the nose or rear of the saddl as necessary. I tend to power over most obstacles to keep my line straight. With the weight light on the front, a slight pull with the bars to your shoulders will get the front over any size obstacle under power. keep those circles coming and you will clear anything under 6" easily without that power robbing "bump" from the front tires.
Practice makes it perfect, and I personaly enjoy practicing, and thats why we ride!!! -
