Then why are you publicizing it, might I ask?

😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 ….This is a MTB’ing forum board the last time I checked, so it stays in the MTB’ing community, and I truly feel that the MTB’ing community should be aware of instances such as this.

That is exactly why I posted this, on a mountain biking website, not in the L.A. Times or other media outlet

from the other forums it sounds like there was more to the story than the guy who posted originally said. It sounds like he may have been warned that there was a big group and he ignored the warning and banged bars with several riders, then after a collision with the last rider (the one he mentions) he may or may not have pulled a knife and threatened the guy and that is when the group took him down and took his bike. His bike was found tonight and he is pressing charges. This makes mountain bikers look like crap!

He cracked big time on a ride yesterday and was completly bummed out, he puked three times and we had to walk most of the way out (except the downhill portions). He said he would never ride again, but after being reassured that everyone has had it happen at one point or another he seemed fine, we will see later in the week.

The training wheels were removed a while ago but I still have trouble balancing 😄 Seriously though my youngest boy wants jumps built now that he rides a two wheeler.

    Thanks for the feedback

I’m not sure how it got to be longboarderj-surfcycles because my original intent was just surfcycles, I need to figure out how to change it.

in reply to: So who introduced you to Cycling? #99664

My parents got me my first bike, but I really got into cycling through Boy Scouts of America when I was 13. My troop started a group that was doing road rides in which we worked our way up to doing 2 centuries, then a few of the guys got mountain bikes and we started to ride Chino Hills State Park. I rode religiously for about 7 years until my bike was stolen. That was 12 years ago, but now I havea new bike and I am riding three to four times a week with my son.
