I was wondering if taking small cans of recreational oxygen to help with acclimatization would be helpful. I live at around 350 ft.above sea level. When I go to CO. I am usually around 6500-8000 ft. Walking(even joking up to 11k) and riding level is no problem. When I start to gain altitude on mtb my lungs are scorched. If you take a few breaths of 95% oxygen before ride and a few more later when you are anaerobic, would this help recovery. :?:
do any of you have any experience with this?

I can download the gpx file from MMR but when I go to "submit gps data" for trail I added there are no tabs on tge map called "add point of interest" or "upload gps data". What simple but baffling step am I missing?

Thanks Schwimm. I have paid MMR membership. Now I need someone to walk me through the process. i want to send trail maps to Singletracks and i am not so good with the tech stuff. 😳

As many of you know, the MapMyRide app doesn’t seem to allow export to Singletracks.com. Is there an iPhone app that can export map/gps info to this website?

Dear mad, I was afraid that was the answer. thanks for responding. what is a decent helmet model in your opinion. I would love the Lupine system but the cost.

Thanks for all the input. I bought the fsr comp 29er. Primarily because we couldn’t find a camber comp 29 and my loving wife agreed I could bump up a level. The shock travel is at the upper end of what is required for my area but the adjustability of the rear shock was a big selling point . May I have permission to enormously stoked?

Thanks guys. I bought the 520s because they were in the shop when I bought the bike today.

in reply to: Best Bike Shop Aspen #109929

I could really use some beta on this subject. The problem occurs on an incline downshifting, something starts dragging and rear wheel seizes? Very stranger. So I have to take it into Aspen bike shop. Who is the best?
