ALLATOONA CREEK PARK UP THE CREEK RACE UPDATE 10/4/13 5 PM:

The movement of Tropical Storm Karen has slowed and the weather picture for Sunday, particularly early in the day, has improved. Cobb County Parks and Recreation has decided to go with an earlier than planned race start to maximize the chance of completing the full 6 hour race duration under dry conditions. WE WILL SHOOT FOR A 10:30 START TIME – PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

Race day registration will be available from 8 until 9:30 Sunday morning. The course has been marked and manicured and it is in great shape. Those of you who were planning on doing the postponed Grant Park CX race grad your MTB’s and join us at ACP.
