Bought some 5.10’s two years ago and they have been excellent. Very grippy sole and offer a lot of support. The toe guard is a toe saver during rock strikes. I haven’t gone clipless since getting them.
Thanks for taking the time to complete the survey. I’ve always been curious why certain trails or places have such high appeal to riders. I’m really interested to learn more about the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ when it comes to the decide making process on where to travel to mountain bike.
Thank you! Every completed survey helps.
Haha, I totally get it. I can ride my local trail and feel like a total boss to only get humbled in a serious way once I hit a new trail.
Thank you for the kind words. I’ll see what I can do.
I started as a kid on a 90’s Bianchi BMX race bike. Friends and I would spend hours in the forest hitting jumps and bombing hills with no brakes. Road a bunch of cheap box store bikes in high school that never lasted. Then a family friend loaned me his Norco Bigfoot for a summer and got me hooked on wanting a ‘real’ bike. I ended up buying a used 2001 Devinci Desperado in college as my first real bike and road that thing until it wasn’t worth repairing anymore.
Thanks for the feedback. I do plan on sharing the findings.
I appreciate your input!
