you are nuts riding in shorts in the snow, looks like a good time though
crazy hill that is almost vertical leading to a bridge and anothe nearly vertical hill
above and below are differant angles of the drop
side veiw of a nice size bridge
land scape shot of a little double and the rest of the trail in the backround
this is where I always ride, about a mile from my apartment in Mason City Iowa"Funrover" wroteYep the front has been cut to allow room when flexed!
well thats a pair of nice looking rigs
"bigguarddaddy" wrote( i was a roller speed skater )
WHOA dating yourself there huh? 😆 just giving you a hard time
"Funrover" wroteHAHAHA.. Not really.. I am short. It is a 3" suspension lift and 34" tires!
maybe is the bumpers and what look to be rock sliders that make it look taller, and does it have cut out wheel wells on it
thats awsome
looks like a good work out, what is the suspension set up on the Range, what size tires do you have on it? looks like a pretty good sized rig with you bike leaned up to it
im not going to be doing anything extreme but im going full face, i dont care if people look at me like im an idiot but they look cooler and really arent that heavy plus the extra protection is nice
WELCOME TO THE COOLEST BIKE FORUM
"Hardrockz" wroteWow! Fully rigid. Thats got to hurt the next day. Im sore the next day on my hardtail. Got to give you props for that. But I guess fully rigid is all they had back in the day. Glad I missed out on that. LOL. 😆
The only day I was sore was the day I took out my nuts on the top tube. I hit a tree root that got uncovered after about a week of rain, bent my fork back about an inch on one side and an inch and a half on the otherside, unhooked the front brake so it wouldn’t rub and rode out of the woods back to my place. I wouldn’t go crazy just 3-4 foot drops but the olf Fisher rode like a champ.
Find a Cross Country bike, will be tough but better suited for what you plan on doing
Lincon Park Meteora
Metallica ReLoad, Ride The Lightning, The Black Album
Disturbed 10,000 FitsThose are the cd I listen to, I use my Ipod, some times I don’t listen to anything
I freerode a full rigid all last summer, loved it, teaches you how to read the trails better
a temparary fix is to file the teeth so that they are normal shaped
welcome to singletracks
possibly your new gears
coming from someone who has use both TRIGGER ALL THE WAY my old fisher(24") that i had in middle school was a grip shift and i did not like them, always out of adjustment for some reason and shifting when pedaling really hard sucked and with my shifters on my current bike (Shimano XTS) I can fly through the gears almost as fast and there is no accidental shifting which out ways any possitive because shifting under power will tear up a $5000 bike like it will a $75 wallyworld special, its just not a good thing ever.
my bmx bike did this and i looked at the flywheel and rear sprocket, come to fine out my fly wheel had worn a little so the teeth were esensially holding the chain on a tooth, took a file and got them smoothed back out untill i got my 44t oddyssey 4340 aluminum flywheel, just a thought
Evan’s Preserve in Mason City Iowa, about a half to three-quarters of a mile from my apartment
crazy hill that is almost vertical leading to a bridge and another nearly vertical hill
above and below are differant angles of the drop
side veiw of a nice size bridge
land scape shot of a little double and the rest of the trail in the backround"steve32300" wroteJust had a great idea,I dont know if you would want to do a whole wheel build but that would be cool,or a wheel truing procedure along with maintenance of the wheel itlself to keep it rolling straight and tru.
good idea
