I have had some issues with accidentally downshifting with my SRAM triggers…I’ll hit a root and my hand will jam into the trigger.

    Thanks everyone =)

I just bought a bike with SRAM and other than that accidental shift problem, I’m pleased with it. In time I’ll become better able to critique things like this…

It’s just hard for me to understand…I’m in the market for a new bike, and it seems that everything’s just confused.

For example, the Fisher Piranha and Tassajara have X-5, while the Marlin has Deore…

Also, the Trek 6000 has X-5, while the one under it has Deore…

Thanks for all the information and I’ll definitely check out that Warrior.

I’ve been to most of the shops in my area and it just seems that I’m at a bad time of year…most of the 08s are sold out, and the 09s don’t come in till august, but I’m keeping my eyes open.

    $200 schwinn from target =)=)=)

Riding it at Alafia, Santos…talk about broken axles and the like….

I bought it probably 5 years ago. I got into mountain biking last november and I’m surprised how much abuse that thing has taken.

The bike has a 17.5 inch frame—way too small for me—and I’m willing to guess it weighs at least 35 pounds…needless to say, I need an upgrade.

    Thanks a lot everyone!

I’ll definitely look into that GF, Bombardier…I’ll send a pic of me hurting myself on it when I buy 😃

It’s good to know that mountain bikers are coming out of tampa…good to know that any nice people in general come out of here =)

Thanks once again, and about those ridiculous florida mountains…I’ll be really careful =)

Thanks, I’ll check that out too…

I actually bought that issue a few days ago…conveniently…it’s actually half of what spurred my curiosity and skepticism =)

Thanks, though! I’ll go check out those two models.
