<p style=”text-align: center;”>At 59 I hope to do the same in time when I am able to retire. Jhart94949 suggested some very good rides in California. TRT is one of my favorites and a must if visiting. Make sure you arrive on a even day such as the 24, as they rotate for the hiker to enjoy the trail. You can include the flume trail which has spectacular views. Flume Trail Bikes operates a shuttle, make sure you take the one to the meadows.</p>
I listen to the Blues. It brightens up any day listening to Buddy Guy or any number of other artist playing the guitar and singing the blues.
I thought it was already illegal. It appears it only applied to ones that covered your ears.
I like being able to hear if someone is behind me or coming up from the front. I do listen to music from my phone attached to my backpack strap sometimes (but at a low volume). Most of the time I’m with friends and want to be social so no music
Unless your on a remote trail where you can see ahead of you for safety reasons I don’t think it would ever be wise to wear earbuds in both ears.
I personally would attend any training that was organized by my bike club or Fatrac I think it’s a great idea. We recently had a member take a spill and crack some ribs. Fortunately it was on a fire road at the end of our ride. If it had happened high up on a remote singletrack it would have sucked. A ambulance was able to drive right up to us.
I’m sorry to hear about your loss
Thanks for the input.
You mentioned you baught new frame. I would recommend a dropper post when you start building it. This was the best upgrade have made on my bike.
I’m almost 59 and have a lot of crashes, starting only in 2013. More time in the saddle will help and there are lots of good suggestions above. Many heavier/bigger riders are lot faster than me.
I ride alone a lot because I’m slow. perhaps try and find a meet up mountain biking club that has novice rider groups. You can learn a lot from the other riders and leaders.
best wishes
Id say leave it then because people ride those other trails also. I can change it on my end. I thought maybe the programming was set up to correct it.
ThanksAlso any rides that show Folsom to Granite Bay on or around Oct 27, 2013 and before are actual rides.
Thanks in Advance.
For instance my ride tonight at Granite Bay it shows as being from Old Folsom to Granite Bay. I have corrected this many times and it still does the same thing each ride. I would think that once i correct a error then from then on it would show the correct trail ridden.
I dont know what is involved in the coding. I enjoy the site and want to contribute I would just like it to pick the correct trail after correcting it. All 10 of my Granite Bay rides shown have been corrected except tonights.
