I may need to swap mine and thought there must be a better way to go about it other than beating it out on the inside edge.

the best way to remove a headset is to use a headset removal tool like this one http://www.parktool.com/products/detail … tem=RT%2D1 which removes the headset by hitting the inside edge evenly all the way around, so it doesnt do any damage to the headtube. also the best way to put in a headset without causing any damage to your headtube is to use a headset press like this one http://www.parktool.com/products/detail … em=HHP%2D2 if you dont have those tools i would suggest you take your frames to your LBS and have them do it, it shouldnt cost more than $30, or if you get a cool mechanic he might do it for free

Thanks guys,I may be able to make some kind of removal tool like that at work and if I can I’ll be good to go the rest of the way with a block of wood and a mallet.
