I’ve got nearly everything I need to build up a geared 29er except a frame.

Anyone have one they’d be willing to part with for $200?

Looking for something with an effective top tube length of about 615mm/24.2"

Steel or aluminum. I like how my steel Jabberwocky rides, but wouldn’t mind the weight savings of an aluminum frame.

You should check out Performance bikes, they got a 29er frame in your price range. You probably are hoping for a quality name but I thought I’ed throw it out there in case it helps, 😃

Yeah, I’ve seen those, but I’m looking for a name brand.

Got my eye on a redline on ebay right now…hopefully the price stays low!

The stores’ house brands and the low end name brands are likely all welded on the same production line these days.

Just for fun, check out this frame and its specs:

      And its reviews:

You can get last year’s model in 16" or 22" for $179, or this year’s in any size for $249.

I can fit the 16" so i’m kinda tempted to grab one and then take my time looking for components for it.
