I’m almost 18 and I’m thinking of road racing in Ireland next season. I cycled 38 miles today at an avg speed of 15 miles per hour, it included one big hill which I went up three times. Should I do one long ride a week (4-5 hrs), one hills day, a sprint intervals day, and 2 days in the gym? Is that enough to get good by next February? Also is it normal to feel slightly under the weather after a training ride? Thanks.

i would suggest that you train hard specially with hill to get more power out of your legs. the racing in irelan is hilly and will demand a lot of power
so hit the gym 1 a week. train hard 3 times a week and a leisure long ride 2 times a week
that would be my suggestion
