Does anyone use Panaracer’s Fire XC Pro tires. I have heard they grip very well. I don’t care so much about rolling resistance as much as gripping roots, rocks, and in turns. What do you Georgians (or anyone else that rides on a lot of roots, rocks, etc.) use?

I have a pair on my hardtail and they are a good tire. They’ve been around forever because they work. If you want to test out a pair, let me know and I can bring them the next time we ride. Nice grip and decent side knobs for aggressive turners.

Sure GoldenGoose! I’d love to try a set out. We need to hit up the trail in Roswell sometime.

just a head’s up unless you already know… but pricepoint has these tires on sale right now for a very tempting price… if only they offered the 29er size for $21.98 😀
