I am building specialized stumpjumper, right now the rear is 120mm of travel, but I am very indecisive on if I should install a 160mm front fork. I can surely use the travel, and I would not mind if the nose was raked out a bit more, but I am concerned that this might cause too much stress on the frame. If anyone has any advise I would really appreciate the imput.
Thanks, Derrick

I’d drop an email to Specialized just to be sure it can take the stresses of the new angle. They are designed and marketed as trail bikes so a 160mm fork probably won’t be too big a deal but it won’t hurt to find out for sure before hand. It’s not a cheap frame to destroy. 😉
